November 2023 — ERMCO is proud to announce GridBridge’s collaborative win with SP Energy Networks at the 2023 IET Excellence and Innovation Awards.

The LV Engine project won the gold prize in the power and energy category of the prestigious awards. The global innovation project — a collaboration between GridBridge and SP Energy Networks’ Future Networks team — revolutionizes the way low-voltage networks can be operated.

LV Engine technology makes low-voltage networks smarter and more active, enabling faster connection of low-carbon technologies, deferring conventional network investment, and facilitating Net Zero targets.

For the past four years, GridBridge has worked closely with SP Energy Networks to develop and test the solution for turning substations into smart energy hubs.

Founded by the Institution of Engineering and Technology, the IET Excellence and Innovation Awards recognize groundbreaking innovations and best practices in engineering, science, and technology.
